DescriptionAuctiva was founded in 1998 by Jeff Schlicht to help expedite the eBay listing process. The first version of Auctiva desktop software was called Auctiva Poster, which helped cut the time of posting items in half. In the spring of 2000, Auctiva acquired eBud, the leading application in auction management at the time. Auctiva changed from desktop software to a Web-based auction management environment. The first phase of this new version was released to the public in 2005. Auctiva was acquired in August 2010 by Alibaba.com, providing users integrated access to low-cost product sources through AliExpress - a global wholesale platform geared for smaller resellers seeking fast shipment of small quantities of goods.
