Amazon Kicks Off Holiday Shopping in 3 Weeks with 'Prime Big Deal Days'

Before most people even start shopping for Halloween candy, Amazon wants customers to start their holiday shopping. Amazon Big Deal Days for Prime Members is just 3 weeks away.

But why wait until October 11th? Amazon invited Prime members to start shopping exclusive deals immediately, “including deep discounts,” and encouraged them to explore its “Toys We Love” list. (Walmart published its 2023 Top Toys List on August 22nd.)

Amazon launched its Holiday Shop at amazon.com/holiday, and interestingly it promoted its Buy with Prime service in Monday’s announcement, writing, “To discover deals beyond Amazon.com, visit buywithprime.amazon.com/shoppers.”

Amazon also pointed to its Small Business badge and Small Business filter, writing, “you can easily discover products from the many small business brands and artisans in Amazon’s store,” and pointed to amazon.com/smallbusinessdeals.

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days kicks off on October 10 at 3 am EDT and runs through October 11. “Amazon will make it easier for Prime members to find deals they’re interested in with personalized recommendations based on past purchases, browsing history, and items saved to their Lists,” and Prime members will have access to deals from independent sellers, it announced on Monday.
