Poshmark will launch gift cards and plans to make them available in time for holiday gift-giving. Gift cards are popular with holiday shoppers – this time last year, Blackhawk Network found consumers had planned to spend nearly half (46%) of their holiday budget on gift cards.
Poshmark announced the forthcoming availability of gift cards along with a host of other new (and “coming soon”) features during the keynote address at PoshFest held on Thursday given by founder and CEO Manish Chandra, who said the October 2023 event was the eleventh in the company’s history.
As part of the event, members of Poshmark’s product and engineering team shared a demonstration of its Posh Party LIVE feature on Friday at the company’s 8th “Hackathon” where Vanessa Wong, Vice President of Product, took the stage alongside Jen To (Director of Product) and Jonathan Louie (Senior Director of Engineering).
Some of the new features include the following:
Multi-Label Shipping (US only)
We’ve simplified the process for splitting bundled orders while giving you a more cost-effective way to ship multiple packages by allowing buyers to purchase additional standard shipping labels.
Host Summary Report
Posh Show hosts now can see a summary of their show performance with a list of key metrics across viewership, engagement, and sales.
Auto-Listing
Take a picture of an item and auto-generate listing details
Closet Redesign
We’re reimagining the closet as a destination for shopper discovery. We’ll be releasing changes over time but you can expect to see an updated interface soon.
You can learn more about the event and forthcomign features on the Poshmark blog.
