Shyp Offers Fulfillment to Shopify Merchants

Shyp, the leading provider of parcel pickup, packaging, and shipping for small to medium businesses, announced a new integration with Shopify, the leading cloud-based multi-channel commerce platform, to make the fulfillment process easier than ever before. Merchants in San Francisco, New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles can now fully outsource their fulfillment workflow, whereby Shyp will pick up, pack and ship parcels on their behalf.

“As an online retailer’s business grows, the time required to quickly fulfill orders can be daunting. Merchants consistently ask us for a better way to do the job, one that is cost-effective and delivers a great consumer experience. Shyp’s mobile app makes it easy for our merchants to get their orders picked up, professionally packaged and shipped – all while ensuring the tracking data is easily accessible within each order,” said Maia Benson, Global GM Shipping & Fulfillment, Shopify.

With the new Shopify and Shyp integration, Shopify merchants can see their orders immediately within the Shyp mobile app once they connect their store. With a simple click in the app, merchants can request and schedule a pickup and let Shyp know if they want packing included. Once orders are collected and packed, Shyp selects the shipping option indicated and sends parcels via one of their integrated carriers: USPS, FedEx or UPS. Merchants automatically receive tracking information directly through their Shopify store.

“Online retailers face mounting pressure from their customers to be nimble and deliver quickly,” said Kevin Gibbon, CEO, Shyp. “We are collaborating with Shopify to help merchants deliver exceptional customer experience and solidifying our position as the go-to outsourced, fulfillment solution for small businesses and marketplace sellers.”

Shyp is available in the Shopify App Store and at shyp.com/shopify, and merchants who already have the Shyp app can integrate their stores today.
