When shoppers on eBay’s mobile app look at a seller’s listing, they can scroll down and see a link to the seller’s “other listings.” Starting as early as Tuesday, sellers found that the counter displayed zero, misleading buyers into thinking the sellers didn’t have any other listings for sale.
It’s a pretty big problem, especially if sellers paid extra in Store subscription fees or in advertising fees to get shoppers to their listing, only to have them hit the “back” button instead of potentially viewing all of their other listings.
A seller reported the technical issue on Tuesday on the eBay discussion boards. There’s no report of the problem on the dedicated thread on the eBay Technical Issues board as of yet, but we noticed sellers discussing it on an industry board.
