eBay CEO John Donahoe Joins Nike Board of Directors

eBay CEO John Donahoe is having a rough year, but got a piece of good news when Nike announced on Thursday it appointed him to its Board of Directors.

Nike co-founder and chairman Philip Knight said in a press release, “John’s executive management experience in digital commerce, technology, strategic planning, and marketing for a global brand makes him an excellent addition to our board. We look forward to his contributions to expand NIKE’s position as the world’s leading athletic brand and industry innovator.”

Donahoe also sits on the board at eBay and Intel.

The eBay CEO already has a lot on his plate dealing with the fallout from a security breach and getting ready to run PayPal while seeking a replacement for its departing president David Marcus.
