eBay Vows to Protect Sellers from Fallout over PayPal Glitch

Online sellers are still trying to cope with the fallout from a serious PayPal glitch that occurred on Wednesday, but eBay vowed to protect sellers from any negative consequences.

eBay and Etsy sellers were among those impacted. As eBay explained, “On September 7, 2016, PayPal experienced an issue which made it appear that some buyers who paid for an item hadn’t paid. The issue was identified and has been addressed by PayPal.”

Users reported the problem on Ecommerce EKG and elsewhere.
