Online sellers understand only too well the competitive nature of selling on eBay and Amazon, and now they have a new tool to help them analyze sales data. Terapeak Personal helps small sellers evaluate opportunities on eBay and Amazon by analyzing more than 4.6 billion transactions per year.
Terapeak emphasizes the new tool’s ability to help sellers find ecommerce products and evaluate sales opportunities on eBay and Amazon, with features such as “Find Products” and “Evaluate Sales Opportunities.”
The tool helps sellers measure the demand for products using detailed pricing and volume data. “Understand how the prices you set link to the sales you’ll make,” the company explains. “Then, use your own product cost and pricing data to understand and target the margins and profits that you need to achieve.”
Sellers can continue to use Terapeak’s free MySales service that allows users to link their eBay and Amazon accounts and monitor sales; it lets them benchmark current performance against past performance; compare sales by location and other criteria; and lets them identify opportunities for improving their listings.
The new service, Terapeak Personal, includes MySales and offers three new guided workflows that helps them find products, evaluate sales opportunities and optimize their sales. The latter feature picks up from where Listing Scoring in MySales leaves off, guiding sellers through an optimization process to ensure that their titles, descriptions, shipping options and listing criteria will maximize sales.
Terapeak Personal gives smaller sellers more affordable access to Terapeak benefits for $14.95/month, or $7.49/month when billed annually. Its other offering, Terapeak Professional, is priced at $29.95/month or $14.99/month when billed annually).
Terapeak has over 230,000 users in total, with tens of thousands of paying subscribers. The company started as a data research tool focused on eBay, and half of its users are now interested in Amazon analytics, according to a company spokesperson.
