Terapeak is making its MySales research tool for eBay, Amazon and Magento merchants available for free and added features to the tool including an eBay hot list. Terapeak has also improved its tool for Amazon merchants so they can research a product’s historic rating and sales rank and have greater transparency into the Amazon Buy Box.
Free Data for eBay, Amazon and Magento Merchants
MySales allows sellers to connect sales data from eBay, Amazon and Magento into one complete view of their online business. Sellers can view all their sales data in one dashboard and compare their data against market trends. Among the new features is a new Terapeak “Hot List” that shows merchants what products are selling best on eBay.
For product listings, merchants can analyze revenue, volume sold, average price and sales trends. The free version also allows merchants to view characteristics such as average price, maximum price, minimum price and total listings for up to five products. To conduct marketplace analysis on more products, retailers can upgrade to a premium version of MySales.
MySales used to be available only with a regular Terapeak subscription (i.e. when you purchased Terapeak for eBay and Terapeak for Amazon), so prior to the new freemium model you would have to purchase any of three packages starting at $29.95/month.
The updated MySales platform includes new features including the following:
- eBay Traffic Data: Retailers can now view traffic data including clicks, impressions and eBay search result rankings for each listing.
- Multicurrency and language support: Merchants can now view sales data in any currency. In addition to English, MySales is now available in German, Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese.
- Insights Widget: Delivers real time alerts about a merchant’s business.
Terapeak for Amazon: Winning the Buy Box
In addition, the company has updated its Terapeak for Amazon.com: the first time, merchants can research how a product’s historic rating and sales rank have changed over a six-month window. The History tool shows the number of sellers and offers for a given product to indicate the degree of competition.
Terapeak will now show the price listed in Amazon’s Buy Box and indicate which merchant owns the box. This will help Terapeak merchants to beat the Buy Box and win over price-conscious consumers.
