Etsy Improves Bulk Editing Capability of Etsy Ads Program

Etsy updated sellers on Friday about new capabilities of its Etsy Ads program that lets sellers advertise their listings across Etsy and Google Shopping. In the update, Etsy described the new features as follows:

  • Bulk Editor for listing selection: managing your Etsy Ads listings just got easier!
You can now quickly select and deselect the listings you’re advertising right from your listing page. Just go to Shop Manager > Listings. This should come in handy for the holidays! For example, try searching for a relevant holiday term and see all of your listings that apply.
  • View credits on your dashboard
If you have an Etsy Plus subscription, you can now see how many advertising credits you have available on your Etsy Ads dashboard.

When Etsy announced the new program in August, it explained, “instead of managing two separate campaigns through Promoted Listings and Google Shopping, you can set a single daily budget and see your advertising performance in one place.”

However, many sellers have called for the decoupling of Etsy Promoted Listings and Google Shopping ads, saying Etsy Ads gives them less control (and some claim less transparency) into their ad campaigns.

You can find the original announcement and all of the updates on this page of the Etsy Announcement Board.

  1. 1) Real People making American Hand Made items will NEVER buy ads. Makes ’em look cheezey.

    2) “Bulk” anything reveals the UnAmerican origin of mass produced CRAP.

    3) Etsy’s only concern MUST be : FUNCTION CORRECTLY.

Now GET OFF THE FLOOR AND DO IT ! ! !

  2. Ina, this feature hasn’t worked at all since the day Etsy made that announcement. It’s like it was never actually implemented. Any word from Etsy about this?
