eBay Awards $10,000 in Up & Running Grants to 50 Sellers

eBay announced the winners of its 2023 Up & Running grants program. The 50 US eBay sellers will receive $10,000 each in grant money, plus training and mentorship. In addition to the grants, this year’s finalists also each received a stipend worth $500 to equip themselves with essential business technology and tools from eBay Refurbished.

eBay said it has given more than $2 million in funds through the program since 2020 in addition to the mentorship, training and business equipment.

Up & Running Grant recipients have ranged from collectibles sellers, to fashion stores, to sporting goods shops since the program launched. They have leveraged grant funds to invest in crucial areas of their businesses, according to eBay, including purchasing new equipment and inventory or hiring and training employees.

All applicants of the Up & Running Grants program are also offered access to mentorship and resources on Hello Alice, a free, multichannel platform that helps businesses launch and grow.

eBay put together a video featuring this year’s Up & Running grant recipients, and it published a list of the winners with links to their eBay Stores in its announcement on eBayInc.com.

  1. You all had the opportunity to apply!

I did not apply. I didn’t see where I would use $10 grand.

  2. You all could’ve applied and maybe won the cash! I didn’t because I cannot imagine where I would spend the money. My store is a one man thing where you need specialized knowledge.
