eBay Surveys Sellers on Needed Improvements

eBay sent a survey to sellers this week asking them how it could improve. It took a novel approach by asking what was the single most important thing it could improve to make sellers more likely to recommend eBay.

It listed a number of areas from which sellers could make one selection, including things like access to more buyers, feedback, policies, fees, and customer service.

eBay also asked how many bad experiences respondents had had when selling an item on eBay in the past 3 months, and for those who had, it asked them to specify the reason(s). Based on the options from which sellers could select, eBay is well aware of areas that sellers stuggle with, from shipping costs, claims, undeserved feedback, and selling restrictions.
