Volusion Merchants Can Now Accept Payments via Stripe

Merchants who use Volusion to power their ecommerce websites have new option for accepting payments via web and mobile. The ecommerce platform has integrated with Stripe, an online payment service with a developer focus that processes billions of dollars a year for thousands of businesses, “from newly-launched start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.”

Stripe allows users of the Volusion platform to seamlessly process major international debit or credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB. The integration also provides Volusion merchants a consistent checkout experience for their stores both online and via mobile devices.

Stripe currently supports businesses in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Finland and Spain.

Volusion said the Stripe integration was the first of many new features and enhancements to its platform – “More releases are scheduled in the coming months and throughout 2014 to help deliver upon key product themes of the year, which include extensibility and brand experience.”

More information for merchants is available on the Volusion Support site, and you can learn more about Stripe in this EcommerceBytes Update article from last month.
