EcommerceBytes Publishers Appear on Boston TV to Discuss eBay Cyberstalking

EcommerceBytes - Independent News for Online Retailers

Days after two former eBay executives were sentenced for their role in the cyberstalking of EcommerceBytes publishers Ina and David Steiner, the couple appeared on local PBS television program Greater Boston to discuss the stalking campaign and its aftermath.

Host Jim Braude also interviewed attorney Rosemary Scapicchio about the civil lawsuit the Steiners filed last year against eBay and former executives and employees.

The segment can be viewed on the WGBH.org website or via YouTube:

  1. hopefully just the first of many interviews, this travesty needs a LOT more public attention.

  2. Wow, a compelling watch! Wishing you peace and resolution as you negotiate the legal process.

Winding down our online selling. Can finally afford to, and not a fan of enriching Corporate Creeps.

  3. I am perplexed that 7 individuals could act in concert with something so outrageous. It makes me compare it to things happening today politically and how mankind is still a bunch of savage beasts. Please find a way to get WENIG, he is truly a monster

  4. I just watched this and it is still to this day unfathomable what those execs put the both of you through. And I hope Wenig is found responsible as well!
I am so glad you were able to stand your ground and still cover ecommerce. Your website and info is the best around!! Hope you can get some resolution in the civil case and praying that your lives can return to normal!

  5. Thank you for fighting the good fight, the one that needs to be done for the silent majority.

Your courage is appreciated beyond words and renews my hope and faith in humanity…

I hope you guys get the justice and peace of mind you deserve.

I’m posting the link of your interview to my facebook & instagram pages and encourage others to do the same.

Hopefully the publicity or public pressure will help compel people to do the right thing.

  6. As many have posted previously, I am so very sorry about what eBay has done to you. As a seller who makes my living on eBay, I have benefited from your dedication to reporting on eBay and all e-commerce in general. I am absolutely sickened that the criminal Wenig not only was not charged, he was handed a multi-million dollar severance package.

Another disturbing fact I learned from this video is eBay was allowed to conduct an “independent” investigation of themselves! That is not in any way “independent!” And the fact that you cannot see the interviews speaks volumes. How is that allowed in our justice system?

David and Ina, you have so much courage in the face of all you’ve been through, and now you’re mustering even more courage to bring corporate terrorism to light. I want you to know how much I appreciate you.
