Here Are eBay's Crash Day Deals for Prime Day

eBay officially kicked off its Crash Sale deals today, July 15, to compete with Amazon Prime Day. The campaign lacks traditional eBay fare – you won’t find collectibles or used goods.

While it makes sense for eBay to serve up new, fixed-price branded goods on Prime Day, it also severely limits who can participate, making them available to a small percentage of sellers that participate on its eBay Deals platform.

Here is eBay’s announcement, which smartly reminds shoppers that unlike Amazon Prime Day deals, no membership is required to take advantage of its deals.

Press release follows:

Thousands of discounts and doorbusters – save on LG, Xbox, Samsung, Google, KitchenAid, Garmin and so much more with free shipping and no membership required.

eBay, one of the world’s largest and most vibrant marketplaces, unveils today its biggest summer discounts of the season with the Crash Sale, where shoppers can score thousands of deals, including more than 50 percent off some of the hottest electronics, home, fashion, sporting goods, toys and more. If history repeats itself and Amazon crashes today, an additional wave of can’t-miss deals will drop at eBay.com/CrashSale.

“We’re crashing the party today with the hottest deals on the things people actually want,” said Jay Hanson, VP and COO, Americas.

Crash Sale Savings
Beginning at 8 a.m. PT, eBay’s Crash Sale offers big savings on top brands across every category, like $2,000 off an LG 65” Smart TV, up to $40 off SMEG appliances and over $100 off Samsonite luggage.
