eBay Listing Tool for Mac Users Gets Major Upgrade

While many inventory-management tools are hosted on the web, plenty of small eBay sellers like to have a tool on their desktop for managing listings. GarageSale is one of the few such tools for Mac users, and it recently got an overhaul according to its maker.

GarageSale 7 was released on July 20th. The developer, Berlin-based iwascoding, called the new version a major upgrade, saying it was the first complete rewrite since GarageSale initially shipped in 2004.

While more features and functionality sound good, many sellers can view change as worrisome, but iwascoding said users can try it without risk – “GarageSale 7 won’t alter your existing GarageSale 6 database. You can test-drive it before purchasing a license,” it states.

GarageSale 7 is available for USD/EUR 39.99 exclusively from the iwascoding website. Upgrades from older versions are available starting at USD/EUR 19.99. It synchronizes with GarageSale Scout, a free companion app for iPhone that allows taking pictures and scanning product barcodes “without cluttering the user’s personal photo library.”

GarageSale 7 supports OS X 10.10 and 10.11 and is available in English, German, Italian and, French. Learn more on the iwascoding website.
