If you use a third-party tool that integrates with your Amazon seller account through Marketing Web Services (MWS), you need to make sure you are on the Amazon Professional Seller plan by February 10, 2017, according to ShipRush Product Manager Rafael Zimberoff who published the following on the ShipRush blog on Monday:
You may receive an email from Amazon that says something like this:
“Beginning February 10, 2017, we will no longer allow access to the Amazon Marketplace Web Service (MWS) API for accounts that do not meet MWS eligibility requirements.”
This means that you probably downgraded your account at some point from the Professional Seller plan.
Amazon requires, for all systems that integrate with Amazon, that integration is only possible if the Amazon plan is on the Professional level.
This has always been an Amazon requirement, and Amazon is now announcing that they will be enforcing it.
To use ShipRush, and all Amazon-integrated systems, be sure to upgrade your Amazon account to Professional Seller level.
Note from the editor: you can find FAQs about Amazon MWS on this page of the Amazon website.
