For the past week or so, my Informed Delivery has been overrun with a massive number of "unknown" tracking numbers with no scans. Now, it seems, tracking is down entirely whether through Informed Delivery or using a tracking number directly.
rstpete: If they denied your claim, contact your representative at house.gov. Select "help with a federal agency". The fight can drag on for a year or more, but in the vast majority of cases, I get the money. USPS insurance is a fraud 99% of the time

USPS has the laziest employees of all the carriers.

I have several items missing with no tracking updates for several days to in one case 3 weeks. Opened insurance claim on that one and they closed it with no contact or resolution.
