The USPS issued a warning to mailers and shippers on Tuesday related to the devastating escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict:
“Service delays are expected due to limited transportation capacity to Israel,” according to the announcement on USPS.com.
Meanwhile FedEx announced it had reinstated service to Israel:
“FedEx International inbound and outbound service to and from Israel has been reinstated. Pick-up and delivery services will be performed according to local authority instructions, where it is safe and possible.

On Friday, eBay announced it was pausing sales from the US to Israel, explaining:
“Due to the current conflict in Israel, most major US shipping carriers are experiencing disruptions in service into the country. eBay is temporarily pausing sales from the United States to buyers with shipping addresses in Israel as we cannot ensure that these packages will reach their final destination.”
eBay also promised to protect sellers from late-delivery penalties and said, “If you have recently shipped an item using eBay International Shipping, you are automatically protected once we receive your item at our domestic shipping hub.”
“we cannot ensure that these packages will reach their final destination.”
Last time I checked, eBay doesn’t do anything to ensure any package reaches its final destination.
