It is already frightfully slow. I shipped a Priority Mail package – it is one of the USPS triangle tubes — on Sept 17th to a continental US address. I am also in the continental US. As of this morning, the package has not arrived. 13 days and counting. It is going to be an absolute disaster once the holiday shopping starts. UPS and FedEx are dying for my business and I am giving UPS more and more of my packages. Unfortunately envelopes and small packages shipped through FedEx ground are sent through the USPS, so that is really not an option for me. But, UPS will be getting more of my business. I think the post office is going to kill its services on everything but letters and envelopes.
