eBay updated sellers last night on two technical issues that have been plaguing the site for a week, but it made no mention of the issue impacting sellers enrolled in Managed Payments who have been waiting for their payments for a week.
As one seller explained, since enrolling in Managed Payments 7 months ago, it has taken 2 days from “payout” to bank account – but he has yet to receive his payouts since October 15. You can read more about the issue on the EcommerceBytes Blog.
eBay has been providing updates regarding glitches impacting Item Specifics and Seller Hub, which we’ve been covering. Unfortunately, it looks like things could get “interesting” later this week, since eBay must deploy a fix to the Item Specifics glitch in fashion categories that could potentially disrupt sellers’ listings – it explained:
“We have created a solution to copy the old item specifics values into the new item specifics values. Once fully tested, we will roll out this solution to fully restore all missing required item specific fields. We will provide an update on timing for this later this week. We will not be able to copy data for multi-variation listings, however, so we encourage sellers to fill in the required fields to ensure they don’t appear blank.”
We recommend sellers read the full post, as it contains additional important information. You can find the Monday’s update, posted at 10:20 pm ET, on the eBay Announcement Board.
