eBay Announces Star Developer Awards

A tool for accessing eBay on a Nintendo wii gaming system has won eBay's developer award for "Most Innovative Application." The Jaast for Wii from a Germany developer was one of seven applications winning eBay and PayPal developer awards today. eBay announced the awards during its Developers Conference taking place in Chicago this week, immediately preceding its annual eBay Live conference.

The Star Developer award winners are as follows: DSR Rockstar - ShipRush by Z-Firm; Most Innovative Application - Jaast for Wii by Scendix Software; Early Adopter - iRibbit by Aduci; Service to the Developer Community - Joe Fox (elzorro) of BD Network; Best Design - Kyozou Widget by Kyozou; PayPal Most Innovative Application - Eventbrite; and PayPal Service to the Developer Community - Andrew Angell (angelleye) of USBSwiper.

Runners-up include HostedSupport; ahTXT; iwascoding; Terapeak; and Vzaar. The Star Developer Awards are presented annually to recognize the talent and dedication of members of the eBay Developers Program who have shown the most innovative use of the eBay and PayPal platforms and made extraordinary contributions to the community.
