USPS Makes It Easier to Order Packaging Supplies Online

The US Postal Service is making it easier to order packaging supplies online by allowing customers to purchase them through the USPS Click-N-Ship online-postage portal.

The USPS offers free expedited packaging supplies that can be used to ship Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express International, and Priority Mail International packages.

“After placing a label into their Click-N-Ship cart, customers will have the option of viewing and adding USPS shipping supplies to their order,” according to an announcement on Monday. “Selected supplies can be viewed and edited in the Click-N-Ship cart. Supply orders will be processed within one business day of order receipt.”

Customers will receive a confirmation email with tracking information when their orders have shipped. Supplies are sent via USPS Ground Advantage™ service within 2-5 business days, and customers have the option of paying extra to receive them via Priority Mail® service within 1-3 business days.

The US Postal Service said it’s making the supplies available through Click-N-Ship to reduce the number of transactions customers need to place to meet their shipping needs.
