Sellers Have Until May 17th to Submit Amazon Prime Day Deals

Sellers have until May 17, 2024, to submit recommended deals for a chance to be selected for Prime Day Week, according to a tweet by Amazon Sellers Group (ASGTG).

The tweet included a screenshot of an Amazon seller-facing page that displayed the following message: “Amazon is now accepting submissions for Prime Day. Submit recommended deals by May 17, 2024 to have a chance to be selected for Prime Day week.

We suspect only eligible sellers are shown the alert.

We asked Amazon for the date of this year’s Prime Day sales event and for confirmation regarding the seller deals invitation. We also asked about eligibility requirements. An Amazon spokesperson responded, “We have not announced any details about Prime Day and do not have anything to share at this time.”

The timing of such an invitation makes sense, given that Amazon generally holds its annual Prime Day sale in July (last year it was held July 11 through 12th), followed by Prime Big Deal Days (held on October 10 – 11 last year).

Amazon recently held its inaugural “Big Spring Sale” on March 20 through the 25th.
